Furthermore, it is my goal to help my clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with the tools needed to move forward and live a fulfilling life.
My name is Amy Jones and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 12 years of experience providing therapy to adults, adolescents, and families in various mental health settings. In practice, I work with ages 10 and up to address an array of challenges including trauma, mood dysregulation, depression, anxiety, binge eating, ADD/ADHD, grief & loss, and relationship challenges. I believe in the power of mindfulness in lessening mood and anxiety symptoms. Previously I’ve led Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) treatment programs, and still use DBT skills in practice and daily life. For those looking for alternative methodologies I also have training and experience in providing Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and somatic practices including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).
