Family therapy allows a safe space for you and your loved ones to share your concerns in a secure and healthy way.

Although there are similarities in individuals within the family, each of you bring something different to the table—opinions, experiences, perceptions. All of this can get lost in the normal day-to-day. Family therapy reminds us of our individuality, while also reinforcing the skills needed to have better communication, understanding, and respect in the context of a larger system—your family.

Many times, especially when working with children or adolescents, family therapy may be necessary. An issue for one family member may be the symptom of a larger family problem. Only treating one family member is like putting a band-aid on a cut requiring stitches. More needs to be done for healing to happen! 

Family therapy provides the necessary space to discuss things that may not be working well. Together, we will delve into how each person in your home is connecting to one another and develop ways for everyone to move forward together.
