Jenn Cardona, LCSWA [she/her]
Hi, my name is Jennifer ‘Jenn’ Cardona and it’s so nice to meet you! Here’s a little snippet so you can get to know a little about me: Born and raised in Dutchess County, New York, I (pronouns: she/her/hers) received my bachelor’s degree in human services with a minor in psychology from Pace University, and my master’s degree in social work from the University at Buffalo.
I understand that therapy can be overwhelming for some, so I’ve worked diligently to become effective in creating a compassionate and judgement-free space for individuals aged 13 to 65. Although my specialty is couples and family therapy, I am experienced with working with individuals who have autism and various other disabilities, individuals who have experienced grief/loss, victims of abuse, those struggling with depression or anxiety, and providing maternal mental health. I can also provide Christian-involved counseling and be a soundboard for those exploring their spirituality. It’s my goal for each individual that I meet with to feel safe, empowered and inspired to work towards personal growth. Because each client comes with unique needs, I incorporate a trauma-informed, strength-based, and person-centered approach to best fit each client’s needs and goals.
I am passionate about providing each client with the tools needed to identify their individual strengths, establish healthy coping strategies, become more self-aware, and reach their personalized goal towards overall healing.
