Willow Nohr, LCSW [she/her]
Hi! I’m Willow, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with both a Bachelor’s (2020) and Master’s (2021) degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University. Since graduating, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families in a variety of community and outpatient settings.
My approach to therapy is strengths-based & person-centered because I believe the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most powerful factors in fostering meaningful growth. I enjoy working with individuals to help them identify their strengths, build resilience, and reach their personal goals. My primary therapeutic approaches are person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with additional techniques drawn from motivational interviewing and mindfulness.
I’m passionate about working with adults and children ages 10yr+ on supporting them in managing anxiety and depression, navigating life transitions, building self-esteem, and addressing everyday stressors. My goal is to provide therapy that is personalized, practical, and aligned with each person’s unique objectives, in a space where they feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, cooking, staying active, being outdoors, and hunting for treasures while thrifting.
With our expertise, dedication, and trauma-informed approach, we’ll match you with an outstanding therapist who can meet you where you are in your journey.
